The "Advances in Achondroplasia 2023 Conference" organised by the European Achondroplasia Forum (EAF) and took place on April 21st and 22nd in the Sheraton Frankfurt Airport Hotel. The event featured a fantastic programme, led by an international esteemed faculty.
The need for this conference came from no achondroplasia-specific meeting existing, in which representatives of all specialties managing achondroplasia and patient representatives were brought together to share and discuss data, case studies and challenges in clinical practice. The Advances in Achondroplasia 2023 conference and workshops sought to address this need.
The conference brought together the specialities managing achondroplasia as well as representatives from patient advocacy groups and individuals with achondroplasia, and featured plenary lectures and practical workshops led by an international expert faculty.
